Cast a line and experience some of the best fishing in the Kawarthas. Rice Lake is known for its abundant bass, walleye, and panfish, perfect for every level of angler. Launch right from our docks and explore the scenic Trent–Severn Waterway, a boater’s paradise that stretches through lakes, locks, and charming towns.

Take a peaceful paddle across Rice Lake in one of our kayaks, canoes, or paddleboards. You might even spot herons, loons, or turtles along the shoreline. For a change of pace, enjoy a kayak canoe or paddle board out to enjoy nature.

Lace up your shoes and explore the many hiking trails that wind through forests and along the lake. Spend a morning at the local farmers’ markets, where you’ll find handmade goods, local produce, and Kawartha favourites
